WFNC Social Media

My first real project as a graphic designer came when the president of the Wallan Football Netball Club, Stuart Broomfield, approached me about the possibility of taking over their social media and completing a full rebrand of their Instagram and Facebook accounts. This included creating various sets of graphics for different purposes such as results, player profiles, team selections, and general announcements or housekeeping. In addition to this, I manage the scheduling, write captions for each post, and handle all forms of promotional work within the local community. I first took this job on in April and have really emjoyed my time working with the club. im planning on continuing to work with the to deliver new and refined verisons as they look to enter there 2026 Season

For this project there wasn’t practically a brief or any sort of specifications to follow, and with the club not really having a social media presence before I took over it really was a clean slate. Based of the small amount of posts and content that’s on their socials it was pretty clear they stick to the traditional balck and white with a small amount of grey to match there team colours. This is something that I have tried to utilise throughout my graphics while also adding pops of colour to create hierarchy and contrast. Overall the final outcome demonstrates a clear and consistent theme and style throughout. It effectively utilises the club’s black-and-white colours scheme and has helped to boost the social profile of the club to new heights
